Antonio Conte heap praise on his players and staff for the incredible win against Everton as he quickly shift focus to next Premier League game against Manchester United.

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte hails his backroom staff and players for the hard work and effort shown on the pitch.

The London club was the better side against Frank Lampard’s Everton in the Premier League after putting 5 goals past them.

After series of bad performance from his side and complain from the Italian Spurs are now showing positive signs in the League.

Speaking after their victory against Everton in the Premier League last night Conte claims it was a really good performance from his players.

“It was an important win, a really good performance from my players, we played an amazing game in many aspects, scored five goals and created many chances to improve the score.

“At the same time, I’ve seen many positive situations. For sure, when we have more days to prepare the game, we have seen with my staff that it’s very difficult to play against us.

“What I liked tonight was the will, the desire to put onto the pitch the work that we are doing for every game. As I said before, it’s important for us to have more days, because this season I didn’t have the possibility to start with this team, especially during pre-season, when you have one month to work with the players to instil your ideas. Now, after four months and a half, I’m starting to see many, many things that we are trying to work on during the week.”

Conte seems not be carried away with the win as he quickly shift focus to the next game against Manchester United in other to get a Champions League spot.

“We have to enjoy tonight, because it’s right to enjoy, but at the same time, from tomorrow, we have to start to think about an important game against United (on Saturday), against a team we are fighting for a place in the Champions League.”
