DeMar DeRozan addresses trade rumors on his future with the Spurs: “If something doesn’t come out of my mouth, I advise don’t believe it”
DeMar DeRozan opened up about being involved in trade rumors during the NBA offseason.
DeRozan advised reporters not to believe the rumors regarding his future with the San Antonio Spurs.
“If something doesn’t come out of my mouth, I advise don’t believe it. For me just being a competitor, I wasn’t satisfied with the way we ended the season. I never ran from a challenge. There was so much for us to do,” DeRozan told reporters, via Paul Garcia of Project Spurs.
DeRozan, who was linked to a move to the Lakers, eventually decided to exercise his player option, worth $27.7M, and remain with the Spurs.
