Novak Djokovic seal a spot in the Wimbledon quarter final following his victoy over Tim Van Rijthoven as the Serbian also hails the effort of the Dutch in the game.

Novak Djokovic secure a place in the Wimbledon quarter final following his victory over Tim Van Rijthoven in four sets.

The offset threathed by the Dutch against Djokovic was not successful as the Serbia responded in style to control the game.

The Serbian has now set up a meeting with Jannik Sinner, the conqueror of Carlos Alcaraz, with a 6-2 4-6 6-1 6-2 success on Centre Court.

Djokovic was full of praise for his beaten opponent as he believe he can do a lot of danger.

He added that he knew he will find it difficult with the dangerous serve of the Dutch which came with power.

“I have never faced him before,” Djokovic said. “He is kind of a new face on the tour, and won his first ATP Tour match in the tournament he won a few weeks ago.

“He was on the streak on this surface and I knew it was not going to be easy with that serve and a great touch, powerful forehand.

“He can do a lot of damage and it took me a bit of time to get used to his pace.

“Conditions under the roof are a little different, a little slippery, so it takes a bit of adjustment.

“Overall I closed out the match well.”
