Gabriel Jesus look set to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at Arsenal this summer.

Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus is opened to move to Arsenal this summer according to reports.

The Brazilian striker has emerged a target for Mikel Arteta as he set to replace Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s at the Emirate.

Former Gunners striker Aubameyang was sidelined by manager which led to his departure to La Liga side Barcelona this season.

The Gabonese has then been impressive under his new manager Xavi Hernandez since his arrival at the Camp Nou scoring 11 goals in 17 appearances.

Arsenal squad depth could reduce further this season with Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah set to leave the club if their current contract expires.

The Gunners have suffered in front of goal this season and the Spaniard have shown interest in the Etihad side striker Gabriel Jesus.

The 25-year-old has played 229 games for Pep Guardiola side and scored 89 goals winning three Premier League title, three EFL cup and FA cup since he joined City.

The former Palmeiras player has not established himself fully under Pep Guardiola and reports from Athletic says he will quit the Etihad club for the Emirate side.

Jesus would find his playing time reduced further if Dortmund striker Erling Haaland arrive at the club this summer.

While reports say negotiations are yet to begin between Arsenal and City, it is claimed that the Gunners are ‘favourites’ to strike a deal for Jesus.
