Man United to make second bid for Hojlund
Manchester United are set to make a second bid for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund, according to reports.
According to reports, Manchester United is set to make a second bid for Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund. The Red Devils are preparing to offer £40 million for the 20-year-old, following their initial bid of £30 million, which was rejected.
The interest in Hojlund has reportedly intensified due to Financial Fair Play restrictions, prompted by the recent £55 million signing of Mason Mount from Chelsea.
Previously, Harry Kane was a target for Manchester United, but with the Tottenham striker valued at over £100 million, it seems the club will not be competing with Bayern Munich in the bidding war.
A similar situation applies to Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, as club president Aurelio De Laurentiis is demanding a fee as high as £150 million for the Nigerian forward, a sum that only Paris Saint Germain can afford.
It is rumored that Manchester United has approximately £65 million remaining in their transfer budget, and manager Erik ten Hag is looking to offload several unwanted players.
