Here are managers that have won the most Champions League title in the footballing world.

Carlo Ancelotti- 4

The present Real Madrid manager has won prestigious award and Champions League is not excluded from it.

He won the recent Champions League with Real Madrid against Liverpool with makes him the manager with the highest Champions League title in the history of football.

Ancelotti won his first Champions League as a manager with AC Milan in the years 2003 beating Juventus 3–2 on penalties at Old Trafford.

He won the second with Milan against Liverpool in 2007 with a 2–1 win at the Olympic Stadium in Athens in the 2007 Champions League final.

He the won 2 more Champions League with Spanish side Real Madrid which makes it 4 Champions League for him as a manager.

Bob Paisley – 3-time winner

Bob Paisley is a legendary figure for Liverpool supporters. The Reds owe the former manager for helping the club become a European powerhouse in the late 1970s. He was the major factor behind the Merseyside outfit winning the UEFA Champions League three times in quick succession.

Bob Paisley won the European Cup in 1977, 1978 and 1981 with Liverpool. Today, the Reds the most successful English club in Europe with six titles and Paisley deserves huge credit for making it possible.



Zinedine Zidane- 3

Zinedine Zidane won the UEFA Champions League three times. The Frenchman created history by winning three consecutive UCL trophies with Real Madrid. He won the competition in 2016, 2017 and 2018 with the Spanish giants.


Pep Guardiola- 2

Pep Guardiola also has two UEFA Champions League titles. He won the tournament for the first time in 2009 and then later in 2011, with FC Barcelona beating Manchester United in the final on both occasions.


Sir Alex Ferguson- 2

The Scotsman was the reason behind Manchester United’s years of dominance in English football. He was at the club for 27 years, helping it to 38 trophies.

Those 38 trophies also had 13 Premier League titles, five FA Cups and most notably two UEFA Champions League titles. Sir Alex helped MUFC win the 1999 and 2008 editions of the prestigious tournament.

Jose Mourinho is one of only three managers to have won the UEFA Champions League twice with two clubs, FC Porto in 2004 and Inter Milan in 2010.


Jupp Heynckes-2

As manager, Heynckes won four Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich and two UEFA Champions Leagues; with Real Madrid in 1997–98 and Bayern in 2012–13.


Ottmar Hitzfeld-2

Ottmar Hitzfeld is a German former professional football player who played as a striker and a manager, nicknamed der General (“the general”). He is one of only five managers to win the European Cup/UEFA Champions League with two clubs, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich.
