The major leagues in Europe are all on break as most players have moved to the various countries to represent them in various tournament and friendlies.
The Nations League takes the major highlight in football as it kicked off on Wednesday with Scotland getting the victory against Ukraine.
Belgium, Croatia and France all got victory on their home ground while Netherland also got their victory away from home.
Germany lost 1-0 to their opponent Hungary, while England relegated after they suffered defeat against Italy.
Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal scooped a 4-0 win as the Portuguese captain got only an assist while Spain lost their game to Switzerland.
Argentina and Brazil defeat their opponent 3-0 in the international friendly game last week as well.
Tennis
In the world of Tennis, the Laver cup took the center stage, a tournament where Roger Federer stated that he will retire after.
Andy Murray and Jack Sock both lost to their opponent in the singles game.
Novak Djokovic was able to claim a two sets victory against his opponent as well in the singles game.
Rafael Nadal paired with Roger Federer in the Tennis double but lost to their opponent as both players were emotional and cried.
Basketball
The NBA is yet to resume its league, but the European Champions League qualification is the one to talk about.
Swans Gmunden, Levice, FMP Beograd and Den Bosch all claimed victory against their opponent in the European Champions League.
Meanwhile in the NBA, the owner of the Sun Phoenix and Mercury Robert Sarver wants to sell the club following the punishment and fine from NBA authorities.
Meanwhile Golden State Warrior player Steph Curry also spoke on the situation around Robert Sarver claiming that he deserved the punishment given to him.
NFL
The NFL also were active last week.
Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns all claimed victory on their home ground in the USA NFL.
MLB
The MLB was also in action in the weekend, with San Francisco Giants losing to Los Angeles Dodgers.
Cleveland Guardians, Seattle Mariners and Miami Marlins got a huge win against their opponent.
New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays, Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Guardians also claim huge win in their games.
Cricket
The Caribbean Premier League were also in action last weekend as Saint Lucia Kings and Trinbago Knight Riders went head-to-head.
The result between the two teams were slim as Saint Lucia claim 147 win ahead of Knight Riders 146 points.
Barbados Royals and St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots also were in action as Barbados won 156-120.
Guyana Amazon Warriors defeated Jamaica Tallawahs 178 to 166 in the Caribbean Premier League.
