Rockets want either Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving in order to trade James Harden to the Nets, says NBA insider
The Houston Rockets want either Kevin Durant or Kyrie Irving in order to send James Harden to the Brooklyn Nets, says Shams Charania of The Athletic.
Per the report, via Real GM, the Rockets want the Nets’ trade package to include either Irving or Durant in order to let Harden go.
Jarrett Allen, Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie and future first round picks were included in Brooklyn’s initial offer, yet Houston requires a massive package in order to agree to a deal.
Durant and Irving are under contract with the Nets until 2023 and the team has no desire to trade them.
