A fellow Journalist Gary Lineker was against his view about the former England international and thought it was all dislike from Morgan.
He added that a player that was good with free kicks and crosses and has 6 Premier Leagues, 2 FA Cups, 1 Champions League, 1 La Liga, 1 Ligue 1. Balón d’Or runner up. 115 caps for England, 59 as captain deserves some credit.
You might dislike him, for whatever reason, but David Beckham was a great footballer. One of our finest. https://t.co/2fcDuLURRS

6 Premier Leagues, 2 FA Cups, 1 Champions League, 1 La Liga, 1 Ligue 1. Balón d’Or runner up. 115 caps for England, 59 as captain. One of the best crossers of the ball the game has ever seen. Yeah, overrated. 🤦🏻♂️ https://t.co/cWDUGJe3sT

He further stated that he was only good with freekicks and crosses and won so much because he had good players around him.
Take away the crossing & free-kicks, he was a fame-hungry snail with dumb haircuts who only won that much because of the truly great players around him. https://t.co/uxliKdGVVc

Take away the crossing and free kicks 🤔
So taking away two of footballs biggest components to fit your narrative.
Then again he can always fall back on to his passing or work ethic unless you plan on taking them away an all 🤣— Nicholas Bragg (@Funtimefreckle) February 14, 2022
But he's an absolute beast midfielder with highest assists in the football history 😏
