United boosted with Rashford return ahead of Sevilla clash
Marcus Rashford has reported back to training ahead of Manchester United clash with Sevilla in the Europa League.
Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford return has now boosted the Red Devil team ahead of the match is Spain.
Rashford suffered a groin injury against Everton 11 days ago and missed last week’s first-leg, which ended in a 2-2 draw with the Spanish side, and Sunday’s Premier League win over Nottingham Forest.
But there is hope of him returning for the second-leg against Sevilla after he trained this morning.
Rashford was involved in a session with his Red Devils teammates at Carrington, with Luke Shaw, Marcel Sabitzer and Tyrell Malacia also back with the main group after recovering from issues of their own.
However, Scott McTominay did not train and remains sidelined, while Bruno Fernandes is another out of Thursday’s match as he serves a one-match suspension.
United will also be without Lisandro Martinez, who is out for the rest of the season, while Raphael Varane and Alejandro Garnacho also remain sidelined.
