Van De Beek to feature against Crystal Palace
Donny Van De Beek and Michael Keane are set to feature against Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Everton manager Frank Lampard has stated that former Ajax player Donny Van De Beek will feature in their Premier League match against Crystal Palace.
The Merseyside club are on the verge of escaping relegation and a win against the Eagles will secure their hope in the Premier League.
Speaking ahead of the game later today the former Chelsea manager revealed that Michael Keane and Van De Beek will be involved against Crystal Palace.
Van De Beek, who suffered a groin problem in the warm up ahead of the Blues game against West Ham last month is back in contention.
Centre-back Keane is also back after recovering from the illness that has kept him out of their weekend’s defeat to Brentford.
Meanwhile, Ben Godfrey may feature against the Eagles after the defender received praise from Lampard.
Yerri Mina and Fabian Delph is set to miss Crystal Palace game due to injury and the duo will be monitor ahead of the final game of the season against Arsenal.
Jarrad Branthwaite will serve his one-match ban suspension after he was dismissed for a foul against Brentford.
Salomon Rondon will also miss the rest of the season after being sent off as well for violent conduct in the same match.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Lampard said: “[Michael Keane] has recovered and is fit to start.
“Ben may be in the squad and that’s just testament to him for striving to get fit. He’s in the squad and I’ll take a decision on whether he is involved at all.”
