Sportscliffs have come up with the weekend Premier League review as some of the matches came with surprises.

The English Premier League came with some surprise package after the international break last weekend.

Liverpool started the Premier League in the early kick off fixture hosting Watford at the Anfield stadium on Saturday.

The Reds continue their fine form in the Premier League as they keep League leaders Manchester City on their toes.

Jurgen Klopp side got a 2-0 victory over Watford who are struggling in the relegation zone.

One of the surprising matches of the Premier League matches last week is Chelsea vs Brentford at the Stamford Bridge stadium.

Wolves defeated Steven Gerrard’s Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend.

Wolves were 2 goals up before the half time of the match as Jonny and an own goal from Villa’s defender Ashley Young gave the lead.

Aston Villa striker Watkins got a consolation goal for Villa in the 86th minutes of the game as the game ended 2-1.

It looks like United will get another defeat after crashing out of the Champions League to Atletico Madrid at Old Trafford before United midfielder Fred scored from a rebound in the 18-yard box.
