La Liga have continue their attacks on Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain for ‘continuously breaching the regulations of financial fair play.
La Liga has filled a complaint on Premier League side Manchester City and also Ligue 1 team Paris Saint Germain for breaching the financial fair play rule.
The La Liga president Javier Tebas, has previously spoken out against the vast spending of both Pep Guardiola’s side and the French champions.
The Spanish League believe that the activities of these two teams is causing harm on all European clubs and league.
It is believed that these teams spend money that are not generated with football itself in the market.
La Liga understands that the irregular financing of these club is carried out through direct injection of money through sponsorship and also contract that do not favour the market conditions.
“This week, LaLiga has filed a complaint with UEFA against PSG, which adds to another against Manchester City in April, on the grounds that these clubs are in continuous breach of the current financial fair play rules,” a LaLiga statement read.
“LaLiga considers that these practices alter the ecosystem and sustainability of football, harm all European clubs and leagues, and only serve to artificially inflate the market, with money not generated within football itself.
“LaLiga understands that the irregular financing of these clubs is carried out either through direct injections of money or through sponsorship and other contracts that do not correspond to market conditions and do not make economic sense.”
