Thiery Henry believes that the Liverpool Era has come to an end as the Reds are almost out of all competition.

Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry told CBS Sports that he believes it is the “end of an era” at Liverpool.

The Reds put on another shambplic display in the Champions League when they hosted European Champions Real Madrid at the Anfield stadium.

Followin their defeat Henry believes that some of Liverpool players do not possess the level to play for the club anymore.

“I do not think that [Jurgen] Klopp needs to go, that’s not what I’m saying. But some of the players do not have the level anymore to play for Liverpool,” said Henry.

“It happens sometimes to the best. It happened to me. I think it’s the end of an era.

“I’m not having a go at Liverpool, but you have to call it. They’re eighth [in the Premier League], they’re not playing well, they’re conceding a lot.

“We all love what they did recently, but you also have to say when something is not going right, and it’s not going right.

“It’s a tough one where I look and see Liverpool conceding five goals at home. Getting outplayed.

“I just think that it’s not good enough. That team gave us so much joy throughout the years, but right now they’re not and they need to reinvent themselves, and make sure they can keep their head up until the end of the season.”
