Erik Ten Hag is pleased with his side performance following their victory over Brentford.

Manchester United manager Erik Ten Hag is pleased with the performance of his players after 1-0  victory over Brentford.
Marcus Rashford only goal in the game gave the Red Devils the three points they deserved after a dominate performance.

Speaking after the game at Old Trafford Ten Hag said: “I was really happy with the performance of Jadon Sancho and Antony, and Marcel Sabitzer, because they were a threat the whole game.
“The return of Antony Martial can help us, so we have options.

“The whole season we play across Europe the most games, more than other teams, so we need the squad, so everyone has to be ready to come in. You see in the end, Victor [Lindelof] coming in for a short period but that makes a difference.”

Manchester United has been incredible so far in their home games but the Ten Hag wants a replica of performance and result in their away games.

“We’re happy with that [Old Trafford being a fortress] but it shows that we can do it, we can bring that performance. Now we have to do this in away games, so we have to work on our character and personality to do it.

“In home games we show personality and character but away we can’t always bring it on the pitch.”
