Tobias Harris on reuniting with Doc Rivers: “I know what he brings to the table. He’s going to hold us accountable”
Tobias Harris shared his thoughts on reuniting with his former coach in the Los Angeles Clippers Doc Rivers.
Harris played under Rivers for one season (2018-19) and knows what the veteran coach will bring to the Philadelphia 76ers.
“I know what he brings to the table. He’s going to hold us accountable. He’s going to be really somebody who’s going to motivate and push us to get where we want to go.
He understands the talent level with this group and understands our capability. I think myself, I’m personally happy and everybody else being able to have a little bit of time around him thus far is exciting,” Harris told reporters, via Sixers Wire.
Harris is expected to have a different role with the Sixers next season and hopes the arrival of coach Rivers will let Philadelphia enter the title race.
Harris, who is entering the second season of his five-year max contract, got traded by the Clippers to the Sixers in 2019.
