Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta claims that the new left back Nuno Tavares is what they needed in the team.
The Portuguese signed for the Gunners this summer from Benfica for the sum of around 8m pounce.

The left back quickly made an impact in the preseason against Rangers as he equalized in the game that ended 2-2.
Arteta who is impressed with the Portuguese player said the youngster is what they wanted in the team.
“We wanted to have more strength and specific qualities in the left-back position, and we identified Nuno a while ago,” Arteta told Arsenal Media.
The Spaniard praised the scouting department for a great work that has been done to identify such a great talent.
“To be fair to the scouting department, they have done brilliantly to identify a talent with the qualities that we required, at the age we required and financially it was something we can afford.
“The boy has already been pretty impressive. I think he is the right profile for what we are trying to build here.”
