Manchester United announce world cup winner Raphael Varane.
United have announced the signing of Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.
The four times Champions League winner’s contract was about to expire with the Spanish team next season.
In other not to lose Varane on a free transfer next season the Spanish side sold him for a fee around 42 million pounds with add ons.
All effort to persuade the world cup winner to stay with the Spanish side prove abortive as he felt reluctant to renew his contract.
Former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos also left the club for a French side Paris Saint German this summer.

Manchester United confirmed the signing of the French man on their Official website with a statement that reads:
“Manchester United is delighted to announce the club has reached agreement with Real Madrid for the transfer of French international defender and World Cup winner, Raphaël Varane, subject to a medical and to player terms being finalised.”

Real Madrid also announce the departure of their defender on their official website with a statement that reads: “Real Madrid C. F. and Manchester United FC have agreed the transfer of Raphaël Varane.

Varane is the latest player to be confirmed by United as Sportscliffs previously reported the announcement of Jadon San from Dortmund.
The former Madrid player is expected to solve the defensive problem of the Red Devils this season as Solskjaer has been in the market for perfect Maguire paring.
