Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer insist that his side will fight for points in the League after a disappointing game last week to Southampton.

Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer has stated that his team is ready to fight for point in the Premier League.

United got a disappointing point last week with a 1-1 draw against Southampton away from home.

The Norwegian side will play Wolves in the League this weekend and he has stated that they will fight for the points.

“When you have the disappointment of losing two points last week, you want a game straight away”, Solskjaer told media.

“The start of the season has been a little bit different. Last year we had loads of games, this time a week in between.”

Manchester United will be without some players this weekend especially Scott who had a surgery this week.

“We’re training well, fit and ready. We’re still missing Scott who had surgery this week. Marcus, Alex, Dean Henderson, they’re not ready. But apart from that we have a fit squad ready to fight for points.”

The manager also spoke on new signing Raphael Varane who is yet to play a game for the Reds.

Solskjaer insists that the French man is working hard on the training ground and claim he will fit into the squad very soon.

“He wasn’t ready to play but now he’s had a good couple weeks of training and he’s looking ever as impressive”, the manager added.

“As a person, as a player, he’s got class. He will fit in at Man United, definitely. I think we’ve signed a top person and a player at the right time.”
