Ajax extend contract with Edwin Vandersar

Edwin Vandersar has extended his contract with Dutch club Ajax that will keep him with the club till June 30, 2025.

Dutch team Ajax have extended their contract of former Manchester United goal keeper and their sporting director Edwin Vandersar.

Edwin van der Sar has been and important part of the Ajax management team since November 2012. There he started as director of marketing.

Edwin Vandersar was appointed general manager in November 2016 and also chairman of the management team.

Speaking with the Ajax media Van der Sar stated that: “I have experienced a lot at Ajax in the past ten years. In those years we have grown with the club in many areas.

“The international reputation has increased enormously thanks to the performance of our first team. organization behind that makes this possible. Our goal is to be a structural part of the international top.

“From 2024 the structure of the European tournaments will change and we want to participate in the changed Champions League every year. That journey is not over yet and I want to I would like to continue to contribute.”
