Ruben Amorim have failed to rule out the possibility of Garnacho moving away from the club as interest from Italian and London club grows.

Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has refused to rule out the possibility of Alejandro Garnacho leaving the club before the end of the  transfer.

The academy graduate has been the subject of  interest from Italian side Napoli and Chelsea this month, with reports suggesting both clubs are eager to secure his signature. The Argentine winger delivered a strong performance in United’s 2-1 UEFA Europa League victory over Rangers on Thursday, but questions about his long-term future remain unanswered.

When asked after the match if this could be Garnacho’s final appearance at Old Trafford, Amorim declined to provide any assurances.

“I’m focused on the games and he’s here,” said Amorim.

“He’s a player for Manchester United. He was really important for us today and let’s see in the next days.”

Amorim did, however, praise Garnacho’s recent form and development, highlighting his commitment and growing maturity on the pitch. “I think he’s improving in every aspect of the game,” said Amorim.

The United boss emphasized Garnacho’s potential for growth, adding, “You can see it until 90 mins he’s always there recovering and helping, sometimes showing some frustration and that is good because he wants more. I think he has potential to be so much better in every situation in the game. What I can say is he understood what I was trying to do, was really clear, I just want to help them but in the end it’s them that do the job.”

With just days remaining before the transfer window closes, Garnacho’s future is uncertain. Both Napoli and Chelsea are reportedly prepared to make compelling offers, which could see United face a tough decision about the young winger’s role in the squad moving forward.

Fans will be watching closely as the transfer deadline approaches, eager to see whether Garnacho stays to continue his development under Amorim or embarks on a new chapter elsewhere.
