International broadcaster Craig Burley has slammed Chelsea players for celebrating the World club cup.
Thomas Tuchel side lifted the World club cup after they defeated Palmeiras 2-1 in the final of the tournament.
Burley took to his social media account to slam the Blues and also called it a plastic cup while Manchester City were racking up a 16 points gap at them in the Premier League.
Whilst Chelsea were winning that plastic cup and it was lapped up like a World Cup win. Man City were racking up a sixteen point gap on them, in a competition that really matters. Let that sink in.

Some of the fans didn’t take his comment funny on twitter and attacked him as he has attacked the London club.

Chelsea have shown what an overrated competition the UCL is. Their squad is average but because they beat Porto and Real Madrid’s B team people thought they were all that. Can’t keep up a title charge after January and weren’t even a top ten team in Europe last season
