Los Angeles Clippers staged a remarkable 22-0 run in the final minutes to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat, overcoming an 18-point deficit to beat the Brooklyn Nets 125-114.

In a stunning comeback, the Los Angeles Clippers rallied from an 18-point deficit against the Brooklyn Nets, securing a 125-114 victory on Sunday. Kawhi Leonard emerged as the hero, scoring 14 of his 21 points in the final five minutes.

The Clippers orchestrated a remarkable 22-0 run to close the game, marking a historic feat according to the Elias Sports Bureau. Clippers coach Tyronn Lue praised Leonard’s performance, emphasizing his resilience despite being under the weather.

James Harden, contributing 24 points and 10 assists for the Nets, acknowledged the Clippers’ relentless effort in the fourth quarter, describing it as “Clipper basketball.”

The Clippers, initially trailing 16-0, showcased their tenacity with an 18-2 run to level the score at 18. The comeback was fueled by a 39-10 run, culminating in Leonard’s three-pointer that sealed their 10th win in 12 games.

Despite a slow start, Paul George and Leonard struggled early on but played crucial roles in the Clippers’ comeback. Russell Westbrook, coming off the bench, added 23 points and injected energy into the team.

The Nets, who had triumphed over the Lakers two days prior, couldn’t find their rhythm in the face of the Clippers’ relentless onslaught.

Mikal Bridges led the Nets with 26 points, contributing 20 in the first half. However, the Nets’ 3-point shooting couldn’t save them, going 14 of 39 from beyond the arc.

The Clippers’ home-court advantage, coupled with a roaring crowd during their game-ending run, left the Nets unable to respond, scoring only 15 points in the fourth quarter.

The Clippers’ victory, marked by an extraordinary comeback and Leonard’s late-game heroics, showcased their resilience and determination, leaving both teams and fans in awe of the turnaround.
