Bayern Munich star Harry Kane has hinted that the atmosphere in the Bundesliga is better than the Premier League – after just one game.

Bayern Munich’s star Harry Kane has suggested that the Bundesliga offers a more vibrant atmosphere compared to the Premier League, based on his initial impressions after just one game.

The 30-year-old striker netted a goal during his German top-flight debut, contributing to Thomas Tuchel’s team securing a convincing 4-0 victory against Werder Bremen.

Kane’s performance was highlighted by his assist for Leroy Sane’s opening goal, followed by his own goal for Bayern’s second. His positive start in the Bundesliga comes after Bayern’s loss to RB Leipzig in the German Super Cup the previous week.

Kane praised the energetic ambiance generated by both sets of fans at the Weserstadion. In a post-match interview with Sky Sports, the former Leyton Orient loanee was asked about the disparities he observed between his Bundesliga experience and his time in the Premier League.

To which he said: “It was great to be honest.

“The fans from both sides were incredible the whole game… really different to some of the Premier League atmospheres I’ve experienced.

“Of course our away fans were amazing, but credit to their fans as well. They were great.

“So I really enjoyed my experience, and I’m just happy that we came away with the win.”
