Barcelona President insist they respected Ronald koeman’s decision.
Barcelona President Joan Laporta says they respect the decision of the Manager Ronald Koeman after he refuse to answer questions in his press conference.
Koeman surprised everyone after he decided to read a statement in his press conference and ignore reporter’s question.
Laporta while reacting to what Koeman did said that he and the club captain found out at the last minute when he was upto.
“We found out at the last minute that he wanted to make a statement and, well, he’s obliged to attend press conferences and he’s free to respond or speak as he wishes,” Laporta replied when asked about Koeman’s performance.
“We respect the coach’s decision, but we and the captains found out a bit before.”
Barcelona are in difficult moment after they lost to Bayern Munich and also played a 1-1 draw against Granada in the La Liga.
The President while expecting thing to turn around for good further stated that: “Well, we’re in a difficult moment and I think that we should have a lot of serenity and wait for a good result tomorrow against Cadiz, because that’s what interests us, situations which you overcome with results.
“We will move forward and keep fighting. We’ll get the ball on the ground, what’s important is that tomorrow we play well.”
