And the Argentina international is already opening talks over his future move with Saudi Arabia a potential destination.
According to The Daily Telegraph, Messi is in negotiations with the Saudi government over a world-record contract in football.
To put that into perspective, Cristiano Ronaldo’s mega-deal, signed until 2025, at Al Nassr is worth nearly half at £175m-a-year.
Meanwhile, the Argentina superstar has been punished after failing to report for training on Monday.
PSG players were due to have Monday off but manager Christophe Galtier called them in after a shock defeat to Lorient on Sunday.
Messi, who is out of contract in Paris at the end of the season, went to Saudi Arabia on an ambassadorial trip for the nation’s tourism board.
