Mason Mount believes stopping Erling Haaland will solve part of their problem as Chelsea faces Premier League defending champion Manchester City.
Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount has stated that the Blues team needs to unite and stay focused to stop Manchester City especially their striker Erling Haaland.
The Blues will host Manchester City in the Premier League following their disappointing draw against Nottingham Forest last week.
Speaking ahead of the clash at Stamford Bridge the England international stated that: “He’s a very good player. We’ve seen what he’s been doing in the league this season, it’s going to be tough.
“We’re going to have to come together as a team and it’s going to have to be a full 11 to stop them as a team.
“Not just him, obviously, they have many good players. Coming into a game like this you have to be aware of a player like that, but not solely focused on him”, Mount added.
“We know he can be dangerous, along with other players. It’s going to be a tough game, an exciting game, and these are the kind of games you want to play in.
“I don’t think there’s probably any one scoring as many goals as him and performing the way he is. He has to be up there.”
