Warriors star guard Stephen Curry continues is incredible form scoring an NBA-season-high 50 points in Golden State’s 127-113 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.

Curry finished the night 14-for-28 from the field, 9-for-19 from 3-point range and 13-for-13 from the free throw line, while chipping in 10 assists and seven rebounds in 35 minutes.

Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic could be facing a possible suspension from the NBA after he was ejected for aggression on Markieff Morris in retaliation to a hard foul.

Jokic was bringing the ball down the court after a rebound and was attempting to pass it when Morris, trying to stop the play, gave a hard foul with his left elbow.

As Morris walked away, an irate Jokic took a couple of steps and delivered a hard right forearm shove with his weight behind him to Morris’ back, sending the Heat forward flying hard toward the floor.

The Las Vegas Raiders have waived second-year cornerback Damon Arnette after video surfaced this weekend of Arnette making death threats while brandishing firearms.

Arnette, 25, had been on injured reserve since Oct. 9. He is also facing lawsuits stemming from a Las Vegas car accident last October.

“Very painful decision,” said Raiders general manager Mike Mayock in a conference call. “We spent significant time, effort and resources trying to help him in all aspects of his life.

New England Patriots rookie quarterback Mac Jones said he was only trying to tackle Carolina Panthers defensive end Brian Burns on a play on Sunday that one of Burns’ teammates called “completely dirty.”

The play came near the end of the first quarter in the Patriots’ 24-6 win, when Jones was hit hard and strip-sacked from the blind side. He then held Burns’ right ankle as Panthers linebacker Frankie Luvu recovered the fumble farther down the field.

After the play, Burns limped off the field, but he later returned to the game before departing a second time in the fourth quarter.

New Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez ready to set rules for the players to restore order as he takes over at club.

It has been confirmed that the French man will miss out on Les Bleus’ games during the international window.

The Manchester United player, who was one of very few to take part in a light session on Monday evening, left the pitch with a thigh problem with team doctor Franck Le Gall and will return to Manchester ahead of France’s upcoming matches.
