The WBC belt holder will face his number one challenger on April 23 at the national stadium in what is sure to be one of the biggest events in British sporting history.

The Gypsy King revealed to talkSPORT that the fight will be open to 103,000 people at Wembley Stadium – a British boxing record.

Fury said: “We had those great nights in Las Vegas, a lot of fans turned out for that. It’s down to me to come home and put on a big fight in the UK and give all the fans that travelled abroad, and ones who couldn’t travel, come and see me in the flesh and see the fight.

“It’s going to be an absolutely epic night. I’ve been told it will be open to 103,000 people, which will be the biggest gate in British boxing history by far.

“It’s going to be an electric night, I cannot wait.

“The Gypsy King returns home, to the throne and a defence in an all-British showdown. I cannot wait.”

Fury’s old foe Wladimir Klitschko and his possible future foe Oleksandr Usyk have both signed up to defend their country from Vladimir Putin’s invasion by Russia, as have Vitali Klitschko and Vasyl Lomachenko.

First, prior to the invasion, former heavyweight champion Wladimir enlisted in Ukraine’s reserve army.

Then, once the invasion began, his brother and fellow former champion Vitali (now Mayor of Kyiv) confirmed he will join the fight.

In reaction, Fury told talkSPORT Boxing Insider: “Well, it’s what they should be doing.

“When it comes to war on UK soil, I’ll be first up.

“I’ll be first up, I’ll be the easiest target to hit at 6ft 9ins, I’ll be dead first.

“Frank [Warren] will be shading from the bullets behind me and I’ll just catch them all like a nutcase.”
