Mike Tyson is set to make a dramatic return to the boxing ring this Friday night, taking on social media sensation Jake Paul in a highly anticipated showdown at AT&T Stadium. At 58, the former heavyweight champion has vowed to channel his fierce “Iron Mike” persona, promising fans and family alike a taste of the power that once made him “the baddest man on the planet.”

After nearly two decades since his last professional boxing match, 58-year-old Mike Tyson is set to step back into the ring this Friday night at AT&T Stadium. The former heavyweight champion, widely known as “the baddest man on the planet” in his prime, will face off against YouTube star-turned-prizefighter Jake Paul in a high-profile match that has fans eager to see if Tyson’s renowned power still packs a punch.

In recent years, Tyson has appeared to embrace a more lighthearted, jovial public personality, often seen laughing and enjoying life beyond the boxing world. However, he assured fans at Tuesday’s open workout that the fierce “Iron Mike” of his heyday will make a comeback for one night only.

“I’m bringing the devil himself [to the ring],” Tyson declared confidently to a small group of reporters. Despite developing a friendship with Paul, Tyson insisted that his competitive edge remains as sharp as ever. “There are no feelings attached. My own mother should be very careful if she has to get in the ring with me,” he warned. “When it’s over, it’s over. But while the process is going on, my intention is to hurt him. I hope he has the same intentions, or he is in trouble.”

Facing an opponent 31 years younger than himself, Tyson is determined to remind everyone of his legendary status. He even predicted that his own children, especially his 16-year-old daughter Milan, will be stunned by his transformation in the ring. Reflecting on the night ahead, Tyson recalled how Milan only witnessed his 2020 exhibition fight against Roy Jones Jr., a match that didn’t capture the intensity of his past.

“My kids don’t really think of me as the baddest man on the planet,” he admitted. “They look at me as Dad [and tell me] to sit my old ass down. But on Nov. 15, they will have a different opinion of me.”

Fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting this unlikely showdown, hoping for a display of Tyson’s trademark ferocity as he faces one of the most talked-about figures in today’s social media-driven boxing landscape. Whether for nostalgia or new excitement, Tyson’s return promises to be a spectacle.
