Spanish midfielder Rodri has slammed Scotland game play as rubbish following their defeat in the Euro 2024 qualifier.

Manchester City midfielder Rodri is not pleased with the tactics of the Scotland team after Spain lost 2-0 in the qualifier.

Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay scored twice to help the Scotland team claim three points and move to the top of the table.

Speaking after the game Rodri said: “For me, it’s a bit rubbish because it’s always wasting time. They provoke you. They always fall.

“This is for me not football. The referee has to take part of this and he says nothing.

“It’s frustrating because we want to win, because you waste time, you waste time. But they have their weapons and we will learn for the next time.”
