This is a match review from Sportscliffs for Premier League match between Burnley and Chelsea.
Burnley hosted Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday and it didn’t end well for the bottom team after they suffer defeat in the match.
Burnley team were able to hold the Blues in the first half of the game but few minutes into the second half of the game Chelsea struck their first goal.
It would have look like Chelsea would just hold on to the 1-0 lead but they added another three goals to make it 4-0 in the game.
Chelsea’s defender James Reece who just got back from injury scored the first goal and also gave an assist in the game.
What was said before the match?
Before the match Burnley manager Sean Dyche stated that his winger Maxwel Cornet will cause lots of problem for the Blues.
Thomas Tuchel said before the game that his players need to step up in other to earn themselves a place in the starting lineup.
Meanwhile Chelsea are going through lot of challenges due to the ownership of Russian Billionaire Roman Abramovic following the invasion of Ukraine by Russia.
The German said he is happy to have help Abramovic complete the Trophy set for the club as he admits it was a good timing.
What was said after the match?
Burnley manager Sean Dyche stated that he was disappointed with the result against Chelsea as he admitted that one goal made them lose their shape.
He added that they will need to learn from the defeat as he says players will be reminded on what should be done.
Thomas Tuchel on the other hand said he told his players at half time how they need to utilize their space in the game.
He also praised his fullback James Reece for his performance as he admits missing him in games.
