Manager that can replace Gareth Southgate

It is no news that Gareth Southgate have left the position of the manager of the three lions after the just concluded Euro 2024 that happened in Germany.

The English man led the three Lions to the final against Spain but fell to a 2-1 defeat in the late minutes of the game with goals.

Shortly after the tournament Southgate confirmed that he will retire from being the coach of the England national team,.

In this article we will look at the managers that can replace Gareth Southgate ahead of the World cup tournament.

 

Jurgen Klopp:

The former Liverpool is a well renowned manager who have led the Reds to win the Premier League, Champions League and the EFL Cup during his time at the Anfield Stadium. He is considered one of the best manager to have managed in the Premier League.

 

Graham Potter:

The former Brighton and Chelsea manager is also on the list after he came to limelight with his style of play during his time at Chelsea, though he was unable to meet up to the standard at Chelsea but doesn’t mean he is not a good manager.

 

Eddie Howe:

The Newcastle United manager has done a great job with the Newcastle United team in the Premier League with a good style of play. His work with the Magpies has been impressive so far in the Premier League and he is also a good candidate for the vacant post.

 

Steven Gerrard:

The former Liverpool midfielder might not seem like a big manager but he can also fill up the vacant position. The Former Reds captain did a great job with the Rangers team in the Scottish league and led them to win the Scottish premier League before he moved to Aston Villa in the Premier League. His spell as the manager at Aston Villa didn’t go well but he also a candidate can take up the job.

Frank Lampard:

The former teammate of Steven Gerrard is also on the list, though is impact at Chelsea was not good enough to what was expected but the English man is also fit to manage the Three Lions ahead of the world cup tournament.
