Joao Felix has backed Chelsea teammate Kai Havertz to end his goal drought against Borussia Dortmund tonight.

Former Atletico Madrid player Joao Felix has backed his fellow team mate Kai Havertz to end goal  drought in the Champions League against Dortmund.

The Blues lost the first leg of the game 1-0, with the second leg at Stamford Bridge a crucial game for the London club’s season and for manager Graham Potter’s future in charge.

Graham Potter is not the only one who has struggled, though, with Felix only scoring once since his arrival, while Havertz hasn’t found the back in the net in his last seven games.

However, the German has a reputation for scoring when it really counts, especially in the Champions League.

“He’s an amazing player,” Felix said about Havertz ahead of the game.

“Everyone knows what he has done for the club. We are the same age so I already knew him from a long time ago. We have a good relationship on the field and off the pitch.

“It’s football. Sometimes you are on a streak of scoring in every game. Every time you don’t you just have to keep working.

“He is a really good guy. He never stops working. He is always searching for ways to be better and to score. Tomorrow he will score.”
